Marginal Way and Perkins Cove

Day 2
the fog came rolling in.....so out came the rain coats and splash boots
we explored Marginal Way, a mile long path that runs along the rocky coast...absolutely beautiful!
great views

and great shopping...check out the view from this store window
and after lunch we had a little beach time....a little chilly, but the kids could care less...i was completely bundled up with a fleece and raincoat.....true New Englanders....a little drizzle will not keep us from the having fun at the beach.

sparklers! legal in Maine...yipeee! and smuggled some home for the 4th of July!

back to Perkins Cove for dinner at Barnacle Billy's for lobster...yum!
a couple of family pics while we wait for the trolley to take us back to the hotel

the boys wore matching shirts....pretty sure this isn't going to fly in a few years....but for now its the only reason he got dressed this time.

vacation isn't vacation if we don't stop at the candy store.....cooper's fav is the dots
