Caroline had a full day off of school the day before Thanksgiving….but cooper had a full day of preschool which gave us the WHOLE day together….just the girls.
we decided to set up the village together. so she got to work taking out the little things while i unwrapped the houses. i loved watching her carefully unwrapping each thing and being surprised at what she saw.
most of my village pieces were my grandmother’s….Mimi adored her village. I love the shaky writing on the boxes…she made sure each piece was labeled.
i hope to pass this tradition on to Caroline….i hope that one day she is unpacking these boxes with her little one some day.
