after a GREAT day of sledding,
and kiddos through the bath
we feasted in candlelight.
New Years Eve dinner this year…..
chips and black bean salsa,
pizza and cheese sticks for the kids,
and scallops wrapped in bacon…our new family favorite, even Cooper liked them!
and oh yeah….the hats!
gotta have the right hats to bring in the new year!!!
too bad its 7:01pm as i type this and Cooper is OUT!
we ended the night with a few family games…..and there was not one meltdown….not one….a perfect day in my book….a perfect way to end an amazing year!
everything i need or want is right here under this roof…..i am content.

First of all, I've bee MIA for a few days, so I've missed some stuff. Great idea to have your kids make their own hats.
Second, LOVE the words on your stairs! I have similar. How did you do it?

our girls were in bed by 8:30 and we were in bed by 10!!!
